Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West presented cancer survivor and charity fundraiser Chris Carver with a framed copy of the Parliamentary motion he laid down to commend him on his charity endeavours.
Chris Carver completed a run from Otley to London in just under 45 hours. He so far has raised over £2,000 for cancer charity Orchid, which is dedicated to preventing, diagnosing and treating male cancers.
Greg, who has recently completed his own 126 mile charity challenge for three local charities, said:
"It really is a huge honour to present Chris with this award. He is an inspirational character and what he has achieved is incredible. The Parliamentary motion is a really good way of recognising the work he has done and I hope it will also boost his fundraising efforts."
