GREG MULHOLLAND RAISES DOUBTS OVER COST OF NEW CHILD SUPPORT IT SYSTEM

Today at the one off evidence session of the Work & Pensions Select Committee on the Department's IT procurement, Greg Mulholland questioned senior department officials including the IT Director General about the IT systems for child support. Greg asked, in light of all the problems in the past, if a another new system was really necessary considering the investment in the current CS2 system. He also pressed the IT Director General about whether the long term aim was to have one system for all child support cases, past and present.
