MULHOLLAND CROWNS YEADON CARNIVAL QUEEN

Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West enjoyed the Yeadon carnival this weekend. He was on hand to crown the carnival queen and deputy queen. He also paid tribute to the event organisers.

Greg said "Events of this nature take a huge amount of organising, months and months of planning and backbreaking hard work to deliver, so well done to all those involved! It was a great day despite the weather not being ideal, though luckily the rain stopped shortly before the parade!

It was great to see so many people enjoying the carnival and I hope it raised plenty of money for local charities and it was a honour being asked to crown the Carnival Queen and her entourage who all looked great.
