MULHOLLAND PAYS TRIBUTE TO OTLEY RUGBY CLUB PROMOTION WITH PARLIAMENTARY MOTION

Otley's MP Greg Mulholland today presented Otley Rugby Club with a framed copy of the parliamentary motion he laid down in the House of Commons praising the club for their National League Two Championship winning season.

Greg said "I am absolutely delighted that Otley got promoted as champions and I thought this Parliamentary motion was a really nice way of celebrating this achievement."

"The players, coaches and officials have done a fantastic job in getting the club promoted and deserve to be recognised for all their hard work. Otley Rugby Club is a really important local institution in Otley, which many people are rightly proud of, so their success is also a real boost for our town. "

That this House congratulates Otley Rugby Club on being crowned champions of National League Two and being promoted to National League One; commends the Otley Rugby Club players, coach and staff, for the effort, skill and determination they have shown throughout the season; and hopes that Otley will build on this success in National League One over the coming seasons.
