LEEDS MP URGUES LOCAL RESIDENTS TO ATTEND POST OFFICE MEETING10.26.00am BST (GMT +0100) Wed 4th Jun 2008 Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West has called on the residents of Far Headingley to support the campaign to save their local Post Office by coming along to a public meeting at St Chads Primary School this Thursday at 7.30pm Greg Mulholland said; "I hope local residents come to these meetings to express their views. Representatives from the council as well as representatives from the Royal Mail will also be present." "These Post Office closures are wrong and completely unnecessary. Closing Far Headingley Post Office will leave many local people with real difficulties getting to a Post Office and will be most detrimental to the elderly, many of which see the local Post Office as a vital part of the community."
