"NEW PLAY AREA WILL BE A REAL BENEFIT TO LOCAL AREA" - MULHOLLAND

Greg Mulholland, opened a new £80,000 Silk Mills Play Area, off of Silk Mill Close, on Friday accompanied local Councillors, a brand new facility which provide an area for young people from the Silk Mills and Tinshill areas to get involved in sports and other recreation activities.

Commenting on the opening Greg said:

"I was delighted to officially open the new play area.

"It will be a fantastic resource for the local area, providing a place where young people can get involved in sports and constructive activity, and to have fun.

"It is also a symbol of the commitment on the part of local Councillors and myself to continue to work hard to improve the facilities available to the residents of the area."
