Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West today presented two year six pupils with their prizes for winning his Christmas Card Competition. The presentation took place at Holy Name Primary School in Cookridge.

The competition to design the front of his two Christmas Cards was entered by over 200 year six pupils from across Leeds North West. His constituency card was designed by Stephanie Hatib of Holy Name Primary School and it will be delivered to over 20,000 homes while Greg civic card was designed by Kathryn Playforth of Meanwood C of E Primary. The competition was run in conjunction with Garnett Papers Ltd, Rizvi and Co Accountants and ASDA.

Greg said "The standard of entries was superb and it really showed that we have got some very talented budding artists locally!

"It was a very hard decision to choose a winner and there were many cards in with a genuine chance but Stephanie's and Kathryn's designs really were fantastic and they are very worthy winners.

I would like to thank all the children and their teachers for their hard work in the Christmas Card competition, its been a huge success and I'm very grateful to everyone."
