MULHOLLAND WELCOMES MING CAMPBELL AS NEW LEADER

Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West, has today welcomed the news that Ming Campbell is to be the new leader of the Liberal Democrats.

Commenting, Greg said:

"Ming Campbell conducted a great leadership campaign, travelling up and down the country meeting members from all corners of Britain including members here in Leeds.

"He brings with him vast experience which will no doubt prove to be hugely beneficial.

"Ming will now focus on the job of leading the Lib Dems into the next election. This was a great leadership contest, showing how much strength and talent we have within the party."
